EN 18286 Quality Management System

AI QMS Accountability

Roles to process responsibilities

Overview

Roles, responsibilities and authorities are assigned inside the provider organisation, communicated clearly - including where information is shared across roles - and maintained as documented information.

Supervision of the quality management system is assigned to people under the provider's control who have the expertise and experience required, including responsibilities at top-management level.

The application manages EN 18286 quality-management roles and processes under the EU AI Act. Thirty-two quality-management processes, organised into seven domains from EN 18286:2026, are mapped to 29 organisational roles using RACI matrices at process-owner and practice level.

The application provides:

  • An overview of the complete QMS structure
  • A full RACI matrix
  • Process-owner views
  • Individual role sheets
  • Detailed process and activity information
  • Identification of responsibility gaps (uncovered practices)
  • A role library.
